Grand Excursion:
The Grand Excursion celebrates the renaissance of the upper Mississippi region, by recreating the 1854 steamboat expedition that brought worldwide attention to what was then America's wild, western frontier. The centerpiece of the Grand Excursion will be a magnificent steamboat flotilla that will retrace the original Grand Excursion's history-making journey, with harbor, day and overnight cruises at ports all along the route over the July 4th weekend!
